Fueling your app with dynamic Open Data

As cities evolve and the number of sensors and mobile devices increase rapidly, we need standard and easily accesible ways to recollect and show this information. In this workshop we will show you the OSN platform, an open repository of data sources where you can easily interact with open data.

We will also do an introduction to the mobile APIs and see how we can create our own applications using open data from OSN. We will review the Open Cities Android application, which allows you to see information about several cities public transportation.

The Session will be Android-oriented, but we will review the "really-similar" iOS and Windows Phone APIs so all platforms get covered.
