Citizen Desk: Rewarding Reporting

Transparent elections, transparent newsrooms. Citizen Desk is a free, open tool developed in Mozambique that aids and rewards citizen reporting where it is needed most. Its story started at re:publica 12, then it won the African News Innovation Challenge and now, one year later, it's about to be deployed to report on national voter registration.
