Institutional and private archiving activities are trying to preserve the web. However, it is a complex task that needs more sophisticated approaches to archive information for later access. Therefore, the BlogForever project focuses specifically on blogs. Beside the technical aspects of archiving, it has to be clarified who should and is allowed to archive what? What are important parts of the web, and of a website? Who should be when allowed to access archived information? The session will give an overview on web archiving and blog archiving, and raises different questions to facilitate the discussion in the community.
