Commonly, 'Tech in Africa' is discussed in blanket terms, making assumptions by generalizing the fact across countries and regions. Is the tech/mobile revolution an 'African' phenomenon? Or is it concentrated in specific spots? Are the conditions in different parts comparable or are there major contrasts? 

In this session we will explore the diversity of the technology scene in Africa we will look at it through the lens of three orders of magnitude:

Startups/Entrepreneurs/Individuals
Accelerators/Labs/Hubs
Cities

From this we will get a better sense of the curious case of the African startup.
