With only one week to go, the countdown to re:publica is ticking down fast while pulses and excitement are on the rise! To top it all off, today we’d like to whet your literal appetites with great foods and drinks!
So you tomorrow you want to be able to read about talks, speakers, and sessions which took place the day before? Or maybe you can’t personally take part but would still like to experience the full re:publica package? No problem. This year, we have kicked-off a special eBook project : our re:publica Reader.
“Active citizen” is a buzzword found in political education. Active means that “the citizen” has knowledge of or is informed on politics. Their knowledge-base includes systemic politics, international politics, society, AS WELL AS the economy. It is precisely here that we would like to help out.
Once again, we have made sure that the STATION-Berlin is accessible and widely barrier-free so that our mobility-impaired guests can move freely among the halls and stages. We would also like to thank our partner Aktion Mensch, which has kindly provided us with a scribe service for stage 1 and a sign language interpreter. An exciting keynote speech and a panel on accessibility and barrier-free living are also part of the event programme.
Ever wonder what it’s like to be a start-up in Africa, Asia or Latin America? How are the challenges different from those in Europe, and what commonalities do we share? To answer those questions, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and AfriLabs will host The Global Innovation Lounge — a hub inside re:publica.
